The “portrait mode” effect has been a very popular addition feature to contemporary smartphone photography. In fact, the feature is the main selling point of many smart phones that feature dual cameras. Now one of the world’s most popular social network Instagram, launches its new feature named “Focus” which is a cool portrait mode feature as it often comes in premium smartphones.
Instagram launches new portrait mode camera mode as part of UI Portrait Stories update. The camera mode is called “Focus” and the icon is right next to “Superzoom”. To access it, please go to Camera Stories menu and swipe left twice. If the camera is directly highlighted to your face, then this feature will blur the background to create the “portrait mode” effect.
Fun, this effect works not only on the front camera, but also on the rear camera. So you can take selfie photos and photograph your friends with portrait mode effects. Portrait mode can be enabled for shooting more than one person.
