HMD Global is rumored to be holding the launch event of Nokia X on 27 April. Along with that, now also circulated a leak of information from the certification page in China which revealed that there are two variants of Nokia branded devices that have just been certified.
Both devices, have the model number ‘TA-1099’ and ‘TA-1109’, this device has just been approved by China 3C telecommunication network certification agency. Based on the certification document was mentioned that this is a variant of Nokia X is expected to be launched within the next few days.
But it is unfortunate that 3C certification documents do not reveal much about the specifications of both phones.
The certification page only reveals that both devices are likely to be created as a middle-class device, as both are registered with a 5 V / 2A (10W) charger. The 5V / 2A (10W) charger is standard for entry level and mid-range devices that do not support super fast charging features. So naturally if both variants of the phone is indeed intended for mid-level market.
Seeing this, then there is a tendency that the smartphone to be released on April 27 could be a re-version of Nokia X released 2014 ago, and not the Nokia X / Nokia 10 smartphone. So, we’ll wait.
