In early February, through the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018, Huawei gave some hints about their intentions to launch the company’s first laptop under the Honor sub-brand.

Through his social media account Honorary official, Zhao Ming revealed that Honor MagicBook will be the first notebook of the company that will land officially on April 19 tomorrow. This indicates that the Chinese company’s laptop is likely to be released simultaneously with the vendor’s smartphone nicknamed Honor V10.

Just like in the cultivation of smartphones, Honor notebook series will have a more lightweight specifications of the Huawei MateBook series. On April 1, Honor officially released a video with the words “AI Envolving! Honor new species is coming soon!”

In the video is shown a figure of a cool laptop that is probably a Honor MagicBook. It is clear that the Prime Prime notebook will use ultra-narrow frame design that is very thin and elegant. The ratio of the screen to the body of this laptop will reportedly be very high. Not only that, Honor MagicBook will also be a laptop that focuses more on the light weight, cooler device temperature and a more durable battery.

The purpose of the launch of Honor MagicBook is clearly to compete with Xiaomi. As is known, Xiaomi has previously launched a new laptop with sales figures as well as a good reputation. Not long ago the company is also based in the same country has even launched a gaming laptop with a price that is quite tempting. These are two things that might be the driving force for Honor to take similar steps.
