As has been expected, Nubia is in the near future will release rival smartphone gaming Razer Phone and Xiaomi Black Shark. Proven yesterday (4/19) ZTE sub-brand held a press conference in Beijing to announce the launch of their first gaming smartphone called Nubia Red Magic Phone.
Nubia Red Magic Phone features a 5.99 inch Full HD + screen with an edge-to-edge 2.5D NEG T2X-1 screen, featuring 18: 9 screen aspect ratio and a 1500: 1 contrast ratio.
The performance of this smartphone rely on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The processor is paired Adreno GP 540, and 8GB of RAM and 128GB dual-channel flash memory. Nubia Red Magic Phone comes with GameBoost mode which frees up intensive memory resources and delivers higher frame rates.
You need to know, the use of Snapdragon 835 processor series is somewhat disappointing considering the successor – Snapdragon 845 has been launched and used by most of the flagship smartphone launched this year. In fact, Xiaomi Black Shark has been powered also with this processor.
Nubia Red Magic Phone’s premium design language, the casing is made of aluminum and is ergonomically designed to provide a sense of comfort as users linger over the game. This smartphone also uses advanced techniques and thermal systems and is claimed to be the first smartphone to use the latest air convection cooling system. The cooling system is designed in such a way that it effectively discharges heat across all parts of the smartphone, without sacrificing performance. To make it stand out from its competing gaming smartphone, Nubia Red Magic Phone is designed with a unique and cool RGB LED stripe accentuation.
In the photography sector, this smartphone is equipped with Samsung 5K2X7SX rear camera sensor that carries 24MP resolution with 0.9μm pixel size, f / 1.7 aperture and supports 4K video recording at 30fps and 720p slo-mo video recording at 120fps.
On the front camera, this smartphone is equipped with 8MP SK sensor Hynix HI-846 pixel size 1.12μm and f / 2.0 aperture. Connectivity options on this device include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, MIMO 2 × 2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, GPS and GLONASS.
Nubia Red Magic Phone is also equipped with DTS technology and Smart Amplifier system to deliver an immersive audio experience. Smartphones running on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system is powered by a 3.800 mAh battery capacity that is claimed to supply up to 7 hours of game play in a single charge.
Nubia Red Magic Phone will be exclusively available through Indiegogo and priced at USD 399 (Rp.5.3 million) and will be available starting April 23rd. Nubia said that they will disclose more information regarding the official price and availability of Nubia Red Magic Phone in the international market in the coming weeks.
