Lenovo yesterday (4/20) officially launched its newest smartphone into the Moto E series, namely Moto E5 Plus, Moto E5, and Moto E5 Play. All have a design and philosophy that is similar to the Moto G6 line-up. Unlike the Moto G6 series, Moto E5 series equipped with fingerprint sensor located on the back of the smartphone, precisely in Motorola iconic logo.
Moto E5 Plus
Just like the Moto G6 series, Moto E5 Plus is the premium series of the Moto E5 trio, and unlike its predecessor the Moto E4 Plus is equipped with a 5.5-inch screen, the Moto E5 Plus shows off a 6-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1,440px . The performance of this smartphone rely on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB ROM.
In the photography department, Moto E5 Plus is equipped with a single main camera with 12MP resolution with 1.25um large pixels and autofocus lasers. Meanwhile, the front camera has a 5MP resolution. Smartphones running Oreo Android OS comes with a 5,000 mAh power-capacity battery that is claimed to power up to 1.5 days of use. The battery can fully charge in just 15 minutes of charging.
Moto E5
Moto E5 is equipped with a 5.7-inch screen (720p + resolution) with 18: 9 aspect ratio. The performance of this smartphone is supported by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425 chipset, 2GB or 3GB RAM, and 16GB or 32GB internal storage option (depending on smartphone sales in the region certain). This smartphone is also equipped with a battery capacity of 4000mAh large enough power that is bundled with 10W charger and is supported by super fast charging feature.
Moto E5 Play
This smartphone is equipped with a 5.2-inch HD screen. Moto E5 Play has a body design wrapped by Policarbonat casing that casing can be removed. Battery capacity in this smartphone is the smallest compared to his two brothers, which is only 2.800mAh. The performance of this smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 or Snapdragon 427, powered by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory storage which can be expanded with MicroSD slot present. In the photography department, this smartphone is equipped with a main camera with 8MP sensor supported f / 2.0, and 5MP front camera resolution.
Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 will be available in May in Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America market and sold for € 169 or Rp. 2.8 million for Moto E5 Plus and € 149 or Rp. 2.5 millions for Moto Moto E5. The Moto E5 Play will be exclusively sold for the North American market.
