Differences with Xperia XZ2 is still relying on a single camera on its back, XZ2 Premium has adopted a dual camera. The combination of dual rear camera has a different task; the main camera to capture color, while the second monochrome image recording, a different approach than the dual camera system used by Apple and Samsung, where the second camera has a magnified telephoto lens.
Sony uses black and white images from secondary cameras to get more light and then intelligently combine images from two cameras into one using a special “Aube” fusion image processor. Sony boldly claims that “ultra-sensitive camera with clean images is only possible with DLSR cameras (replaceable lenses).
By using this dual sensor camera, you can shoot in ISO up to 51200 for photos and up to 12800 ISO for video. This rate is unprecedented for camera phones.
There are several new creativity options, such as the ability to take photos in “Bokeh” mode, and can also remove some images. Other features that XZ2 includes include 4K HDR video recording which is also supported by high resolution 4K HDR display. This device can also record 960fps super slow video.
