The luxury smartphone brand, Vertu finally kicked off the premium smartphone business by introducing a new generation of smartphone that was built with elegant and luxurious designs. At the launch event held yesterday (10/18) in Beijing, Vertu announced a new smartphone called the Vertu Aster P-Series. This smartphone comes with a titanium alloy frame, sapphire glass screen, and a back panel wrapped in high quality genuine leather.
The internal specifications of the Vertu Aster P are not flashy, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM, 12 MP main camera, 20MP front camera, and 3,200 mAh power capacity. This phone comes in two series – that is Vertu Aster P Baroque and Vertu Aster P Gothic, with the main difference being mostly in the design side.
The Aster P has two panels on the back that are open with designs such as Mercedes SLS car door wings. This is just a place to place the SIM card, but under one of the panels is the signature of the person who made this smartphone.
Vertu is a luxury smartphone brand and Aster P comes with a new design that doesn’t disappoint. It comes with a concierge button on the side that connects you to personal services that can help you make travel plans, order a table for dinner and whatever you need.
Vertu Aster P displays a 4.97-inch screen with 1080p resolution, running OS Android v8.1 Oreo. Because this phone is powered by a Qualcomm chipset, this smartphone will arrive with the Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging feature. There is also V Talk encryption technology to maintain the security of call and message history to be safer and there is an exclusive security application that immediately locks the device used by others.
There are at least 7 color versions of the Aster P Baroque series with a choice of Black, Gentleman Blue, Caramel Brown, and Twilight Orange. Everything is available at the online retailer JD.com which is priced at CNY 29,800, or equivalent to Rp 62 million.
The Vertu Aster P Gothic is available in the choice of Black Jade and White Moon for CNY35,800 or the equivalent of Rp80 million, and the most expensive is Vertu Aster P Dazzling Gold for CNY 98,000 or the equivalent of Rp 205 million.
