Unlike previous years, HTC usually launch up to two premium smartphones every year. But by 2018 HTC is expected to launch only one premium smartphone. Smartphones with the name U12 + will debut in the international market in the coming months.
But from the many confusing news about this device, apparently a newspaper that comes from the media in Taiwan has revealed the estimated release schedule of U12 +. Information derived from several insiders informed that the flagship will be officially launched in early May 2018.
So what is the reason HTC launched HTC U12 + in May?
Presumably the company deliberately chose in May to avoid direct competition with other major smartphone manufacturers such as Samsung, Xiaomi, and Oppo who launched the smartphone in March as well as this April.
As for HTC U12 + will be equipped with a fairly large screen size of 6 inches. Its performance relies on a very powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal memory. The overall device operation uses a battery with a capacity of 3420 mAh.
The photography sector is armed by a dual camera on the back with a combination of 12MP + 16MP resolution. The front is also embedded dual camera with 8MP + 8MP resolution. That is, HTC U12 + will be a top smartphone from the manufacturer that carries four cameras at once.
The smartphone that will run the Android OS v8.0 Oreo will feature an Edge Sense UI interface that will allow users to utilize various moves like squeeze to activate the camera, Facebook, or other applications.
But until now there has been no leak of the price of this device. Wait for further news from us.
