Meizu has recently launched two new smartphones designed with full-screen Meizu E3 and M6S respectively introduced in March and January 2018. Not satisfied, the Chinese company seems to have also set up other middle-class smartphones. More interesting again, a smartphone that is likely to be named Meizu 15 is reportedly designed by the CEO himself. Cool, right?
Although already many rumors and leaks Meizu 15 Series that appeared on the internet lately, but there is no official information issued by the vendor. Meizu’s senior technology vice president Yang Wei on Thursday (4/5) yesterday through Weibo has displayed an interesting drawing that hinted at the launch of Meizu 15.
As you know, the Meizu 15 Series smartphone has pocketed TENAA certification. According to information derived from the TENAA document, the Meizu 15 body will use a full-metal material with a dome-shaped antenna design. At the front there will be a round, physical Home button that supports the fingerprint scanner. So leaked previous information that mentions the fingerprint scanner presented in this smartphone will be placed on the side of the body is just a rumor. Moving back, Meizu 15 will place the dual main camera, which comes with LED Flash.
Meizu 15 will feature a 5.46 inch screen. Its performance will rely on Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor is supported by 4GB of RAM and 6GB of RAM and choice of ROM each size 64GB or 128GB. This smartphone will reportedly also support the storage of external memory via MicroSD. Photography sector will be armed with dual main camera that carries 12MP + 20MP resolution, while the front camera has a resolution of 20MP. For the overall operation, Meizu 15 will be equipped with a battery capacity of 2.940mAh.
Meizu 15 which will be created as a middle-class smartphone will directly dealing directly with competitors fiercely in this segment of the Oppo R15 and Vivo X21.
The latest news says that the other two variants of Meizu 15 is Meizu 15 Pro and Meizu 15 Lite. Meizu 15 Pro will use Snapdragon 835 chip, while Meizu 15 Lite will be packed with lower processor series.
The three models of Meizu 15 Series will reportedly be released this month (precisely on April 15) and will start shipping by the end of April 2018.
