Samsung is currently rumored to be working on a new smartphone that is likely to slide under the Galaxy J series. Devices that target the entry level segment has quietly appeared on the FCC site. This seems to reinforce the possibility of launching the smartphone in the near future.
Recorded with the model number “SM-J600F”, strong allegations that the smartphone is Galaxy J6. Actually not surprising if this smartphone is Galaxy J6, because in February and this smartphone has appeared on the GeekBench test page.
Unfortunately FCC does not publish scheme or detailed specification of Galaxy J6. However, from the attachment at the FCC it appears that the device will adopt the 18.5: 9 screen, and most likely supports the Infinity Display feature. FCC documents reveal that this smartphone will display a 5.6 inch screen size and will have a length and width of 146.3 x 67.0 mm.
Performance as revealed by the GeekBench page will diotaki by Exynos 7870 octa-Core processor is produced with 14nm technology. 3GB of RAM has also been prepared along with unspecified ROM capacity. However this device will certainly support MicroSD card slot.
Smartphones running the Android OS v8.0 Oreo are likely to launch in the next few weeks.
