According to a leaked schedule, Xiaomi on May 13 will release a new smartphone that is Xiaomi Mi 8. Only, the details of spek and the real physical form of this product is still a bit ‘opaque’. Latest rumors, a few days ago appeared leaked images that show sales boxes aka retail box from Mi 8.
The retail box does not reveal detailed information about the Mi 8 completely, but at least some key features and leading specifications began to unfold its bright spot.
Reported from GSMArena, in the retail box uploaded by twitter account SlashLeaks listed that Mi 8 will diotaki by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC processor which is usually paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM (possibly will also be present in 128GB ROM option as well).
Another highlighted feature in the retail box is GPS support (which is set to be a dual-GPS module). In addition, this smartphone will also be equipped with dual main camera with one camera sensor has a resolution of 20MP.
And based on the inscription listed in the retail box also mentions that the Mi 8 will be included USB Type-C cable and and a dongle USB-C to Audio. And this suggests that the Mi 8 has indeed eliminated the support of 3.5 mm audio jack. (fair enough, since earlier at Mi 6 it does not have 3.5mm port support).
Furthermore, the smartphone that comes with the model number “M1803E1A” has previously been certified 3C and certainly will present a fingerprint sensor in-display.
