Samsung reportedly has scheduled the launch of the Galaxy X folding screen smartphone at MWC 2019 to be held on February 25, 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. This news was first obtained from local media in South Korea, which stated that Samsung’s folding smartphone is likely to debut at MWC 2019.
From these information Samsung has reportedly asked its partners to start supplying components / spare parts for Galaxy X in November this year.
It further mentioned that the project code name for Samsung Galaxy X has also been changed from ‘Valley’ to ‘Winner’. This according to experts is a strong indication that the project of cultivating Galaxy X has moved beyond the ‘development stage’ and approaching the launch of the device.
Then what about the next generation Galaxy S series phones?
Based on information circulated since a few months ago, it is known that the smartphone will be called Samsung Galaxy S10 will debut in January 2019.
Most likely, the technology giant company based in South Korea will take advantage of CES to introduce the Galaxy S10. But this is just a rumor. Because there are parties who mention that this is almost impossible because not least OEMs who may introduce a flagship smartphone in the event.
Not a pretty good strategy if Samsung is the next S-series device in the middle of another brand smartphone launch. So, it is likely that Samsung will hold its own exclusive event, beyond the CES 2019.
