The desire to implement a smartphone design without a bezel has prompted many vendors to develop a fingerprint scanning technology on the screen.
Some smartphone pembesut in China, such as Vivo and Huawei has successfully launched a smartphone with this feature.
Some time ago, two other vendors namely Samsung and Meizu have patented the technology of fingerprint scanning on their screen. Following later, Oppo is also rumored to have pocketed a fingerprint scanner on screen after being awarded by China Intellectual Property Office (CIPO).
In the picture shown that this feature will not only unlock the smartphone, but also quite safe to use as an online payment tool.
In the CIPO document you can also see the sequence of fingerprints and fingerprint areas to recognize. This feature can be used when the screen is on that makes it different from the Synaptics sensor.
