Xiaomi increasingly diligent release new smartphones aimed at various categories. Recently the vendor from China is indicated to be preparing a new smartphone called Xiaomi Mi 6A. It is said that this smartphone is scheduled to make its debut late April. Along with that leaked specification of the smartphone has appeared in GeekBench.
Based on leaked GeekBench, Xiaomi is known is preparing a smartphone with code name ‘Cereus’. Based on the specifications revealed by the benchmark site, it is likely that the handset will target entry-level.
Xiaomi Cereus aka Xiaomi Mi 6A in testing GeekBench scored 745 in Single-Core and 3,562 in Multi-Core. This is what triggered the suspicion that Cereus is Xiaomi Redmi 6A.
Based on the information on the benchmark page, it says that this smartphone will feature an Octa-core MediaTek MT6765 processor with a clock speed of 2.0GHz. The MT6765 processor is built on a power-efficient 12nm process. The use of this processor is coupled with 3GB of RAM, but the capacity of ROM is still unknown.
Smartphones running Android 8.1.0 Oreo and sweetened with MIUI 9 will reportedly present a fun experience for users on entry level smartphones.
Unfortunately, so far not much information is revealed related to Redmi 6A. Even so, Xiaomi Cereus aka Xiaomi Redmi 6A will be represented a new power for entry level smartphones to be launched by Xiaomi.
