Xiaomi has officially launched its latest smartphone that is Mi Mix 2S last month. Many new things are quite proud that displayed by Xiaomi in the smartphone. From these ads users can see a lot of similarities between Xiao AI with Google Assistant. For example you can find similar multi-colored bars as you can find in both virtual assistants.
Each Xiao AI user can also stream music, translate content, send text, set timers, schedule, alarm, open apps, activate the camera and more.
As reported previously, Xiaomi has plans to enter the US market this year. It would be great to see Xiao AI compete against other established virtual assistants like Google Assistant, Cortana and SIRI.
Unfortunately, for now the functionality of Xiao AI is limited to Mandarin. But with Xiaomi’s ambition to strengthen its position in the global market, it does not seem excessive if the capability of embedded language support will be extended in the future.
