After showing off the trio of the latest Android smartphone in MWC 2018 ago, ZTE again reportedly working on the next smartphone, the ZTE A606.

The performance of ZTE A606 relies on quad-core MT6739 processor with clock speed 1.3GHz paired with 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and allows expansion of external memory up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
In the photography department, the ZTE A606 is equipped with a 2MP front camera feature that was used for selfie and video calls. While the main camera has a 5 MP resolution supported by LED Flash, to support the maximum image capture even in low light or dim location.
To support the overall operation of the device, the ZTE A606 is equipped with a 2,600mAh power-capacity battery. This smartphone will also offer all major connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack connection.
But what remains a “mystery” is a popular feature of fingerprint scanner that until now still not known whether to be presented in ZTE A606. Because since the emergence of ZTE A606 leaked from TENAA certification documents in the last month, it does not show any information about fingerprint sensors. Likewise with the latest leaked images that are distributed in Slashleaks, did not show any “trace” presence of fingerprint scanner panel.
No visible Home physical buttons are usually placed below the screen that is normally boarded for the fingerprint scanner. At the rear completely invisible there is a fingerprint sensor panel. Is it possible the ZTE A606 will embed the fingerprint sensor under the screen like Vivo X21 Plus UD? With simple specs and targeting entry-level segments, it seems almost impossible that the ZTE A606 will be equipped with a fingerprint scanner below the screen.
The ZTE A606 will be priced at 799 Yuan (equivalent to Rp 1.7 million) in China and will be available in Silver and Deep Blue color variants. Unfortunately, so far no further information about the exact release date and availability of the smartphone.
